Rabbit New Yearby ~0okami-Rei

Digital Art / Paintings & Airbrushing / Animals

YES! FINALLY!!!! DONE!!!

So we're on to 2011, being the lovely Rabbit year. And what other way to celebrate than to have my first submission feature a rabbit? XD

I wanted to do an artpiece with the symbolic rabbit so here it is, and I'm sooo happy with the results! I've always wanted to paint like this and I finally can.

It's referenced from the amazing `yuumei because this is honestly my first time trying out a painting style like this.

It's fun but tiring. But I'll get the hang of it soon, I'm sure.

I have been extremely interested in albino animals since last year (Oct, to be exact) and this year, I'm going to start an entire series featuring albino animals. Or something like that. ^^

Oh yeah, the red character in the background means "Rabbit" in Chinese/Japanese.
